Ever been stuck for gift ideas? Everyone has! It seems the closer you are to someone the harder it is to buy for them. When I need to buy a gift for some of my friends I can just wander down to the mall and pick up any old thing, but when it’s mothers day, fathers day, my sisters birthday or a special occasion like a wedding, I have to spend weeks or months in advance looking around for something that could even be vaguely appropriate!

Sometimes I’ll find a few things that aren’t quite right for someone but I’d feel bad getting them just one of those items because it doesn’t seem thoughtful enough so I end up buying the whole lot! I end up spending hundreds of dollars every time I have to buy for my mum now just because I don’t feel anything I could get her would mean enough to show her how I feel.

That all changed when I discovered Willow Tree figurines. All I have to do now is search through the catalog of figurines that are available and look for the one that most closely represents how I feel about the person I’m buying for, portrays the most accurately what I think is important to the person or even one that means something personally for me as a reminder to them that I’m always going to be around.

There are countless reasons for any one of the figurines to be appropriate for a loved one, friend, teacher, anyone really! Buying a different one every year to give to someone close could become a sweet tradition you could begin which could fill up a mantelpiece or shelf as the years go by.

My sisters wedding is coming up within the next few weeks so I’ll be looking through the Willow Tree catalog again soon.
